A nationwide airline ground stop is in effect until at least 9 AM Eastern Time this morning. The FAA has ordered all airlines to pause all domestic operations as they work to resolve the issue. President Biden released a statement saying they don’t know the cause but there is no evidence it is a cyber attack, and the Department of Transportation is launching an investigation. The problem with the FAA’s computer system, which provides critical information to pilots, began late last night and escalated this morning.
