Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri traded words over the weekend after Bow Wow called out the music mogul for lying about creating BET’s 106 & Park. JD made the comment on The GAUDS podcast, saying he called BET President Stephen Hill about doing a “black version” of MTV’s TRL with Bow Wow as the host. Bow Wow took to Twitter in disagreement, saying JD was lying and the concept came from BET execs. In addition, Bow Wow tweeted, "I just wish he just [he’d] do his own thang w/out having to bring me up. I wish dude the best of luck in his career and in life. We did some amazing things, but that chapter is closed." Da Brat then jumped into the conversation in defense of JD, saying Bow Wow was out of line for disrespecting JD. She says JD made "Bow Wow a star" and called for the former rapper to stop and show JD respect.
