One of the notable winners at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards was GloRilla. The Memphis native won the award for Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist over Baby Keem, Blxst, Doechii, Nardo Wick, Saucy Santana, and Fivio Foreign. Some of Fivio Foreign fans were irritated with GloRilla winning BET Breakthrough Artist over him. “I did not get robbed,” tweeted Fivio Foreign on Wednesday (October 6). “GloRilla won cuz she deserved it [and I’m] happy for her.” GloRilla's "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" single debuted this year, reaching #42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her second single, "Tomorrow 2," featuring Cardi B, has reached the top 10. Fivio Foreign's 2022 was also great with the Brooklyn drill rapper’s "City of Gods," with Kanye West and Alicia Keys earning RIAA Gold in June.
