The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards went down last night in Los Angeles and it was certainly a good night for Silk Sonic, winners of Duo of the Year, R&B Song of the Year for “Leave The Door Open,” and R&B Album of the Year for “An Evening With Silk Sonic.” Other big winners included Lil Nas X, who took home Male Artist of the Year. Jennifer Lopez was honored this year with the Icon Award. Host LL Cool J opened the show with a show-stopping medley that kicked off with “Mama Said Knock You Out,” and included “Rampage,” “The Boomin System,” “Rock The Bells” and more. Megan Thee Stallion, the iHeartRadio Trailblazer Award winner, popped out of a oven to perform “Megan’s Piano” and her Dua Lipa collaboration “Sweetest Pie,” surrounded by dancers in red.
