DMX's Son has Stage Three Kidney Disease

DMX’s youngest son is suffering from stage three kidney disease. Exodus’ mother and the late rapper’s fiancée, Desiree Lindstrom, revealed the diagnosis. According to the National Kidney Foundation, there are five stages of chronic kidney disease. The five-year-old appears to have been born with the condition. His stage three diagnosis means that he’s lost about half of his kidney function. Thankfully, Exodus’ condition is stable. “I just continue to keep his potassium down. He can’t eat no high-potassium foods,” Desiree explained. “He goes to the doctor very often. I make sure that his creatinine levels are at the levels that they need to be to keep him stable.”
