James Brown will be the subject of a new documentary being produced by some big name rock stars. “James Brown: Say It Loud” will air on A&E next year, with Mick Jagger on board as executive producer, along with The Roots' Questlove and Black Thought. Directed by Deborah Riley Draper, the docuseries will feature unseen archival footage of “The Godfather of Soul,” as well as interviews with friends, family and collaborators. This isn’t the first time Jagger has been behind a James Brown project. He also served as executive producer on the 2014 feature film “Get On Up,” which starred Chadwick Boseman.
