NHL’s First All-Black Broadcast Hits Tomorrow

NHL history will be made tomorrow night when the Seattle Kraken face-off against the Winnipeg Jets. This came will mark the first time an all-black team has ever fronted an NHL television broadcast. JT Brown, a regular Kraken analyst, will be joined by Everett Fitzhugh, who normally does play-by-play for the team’s radio broadcasts. Seattle’s normal TV play-by-play commentator, John Forslund, will move to a different network that night, thereby giving Brown and Firzhugh an opportunity “collaborate in a truly meaningful way.”
