Apparently the sneaker company has decided to postpone the release of the “Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack” in the wake of the tragedy at the Astroworld Festival. The kicks were slated to drop on December 16th, but it was announced last night that it wouldn’t happen. “Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” Nike said in a statement. This news comes after nine-year-old Ezra Blount became the 10th victim of the tragedy. In addition, the Houston Rockets scrapped “Travis Scott Night” and replaced it with a moment of silence for the victims. And Fortnite removed his emote from the game.
