Terrence J is lucky to be alive after he was the victim of an attempted home burglary early Wednesday morning (Nov. 10). According to Fox 11, the former “106 & Park” host, whose real name is Terrence Jenkins, and a passenger were returning to his home in Sherman Oaks from Hollywood. Suddenly, the pair found themselves blocked in by an SUV that was filled with masked men. One of the burglars ordered Jenkins to get out of the car at gunpoint, however, he managed to drive off. The suspects followed him and began shooting at the Think Like A Man actor’s vehicle. Luckily, Jenkins was able to flag down a nearby California Highway Patrol car for help. Los Angeles Police Department officers feared that more suspects could be inside of his home. They searched the premises, but no burglars were found in the house. Authorities did find a woman who was locked inside her bedroom, dreading that she would be the victim of a home invasion. She was also uninjured. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the case and is now examining surveillance video in the area. Jenkins has not commented about the incident publicly.
