Mac Miller’s Drug Supplier Pleads Guilty to Distribution of Fentanyl

One of Mac Miller’s alleged drug dealers has pleaded guilty. According to court documents filed on Monday (Oct. 25), Stephen Walter entered a guilty plea, admitting to one count of distribution of fentanyl. Walter was one of three men accused of selling Mac the drugs that ultimately led to his accidental overdose. Prosecutors claimed that he gave Ryan Michael Reavis cocaine, Xanax, and counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl and told him to sell them to Cameron Petitt despite awareness of the fatal nature of the fake drugs. Petitt then delivered them to Miller, who passed away on Sept. 7, 2018, after consuming a fatal combination of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in addition to other substances. He is now facing a maximum sentence of 20 years and a lifetime of supervised release — a punishment prosecutors believe should be reduced to 17 years in prison and 5 years of supervised release.
