FreedomNews.TV is suing Snoop for posting a video without permission. They’re claiming that he stole copyrighted footage of a protester trying to scale a Manhattan office building as posted it to his Instagram account. The “Dummy of the Week” video – which is still live on his page -- has gotten more than 4-point-5 million views since it was posted in April. As if that wasn’t enough, FreedomNews is accusing Tha Doggfather of violating the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. It prohibits the removal of “content management information” used on copyrighted works. He broke the rule when he posted the video with no attribution. It’s not clear what the outlet wants, and Snoop’s rep couldn’t be reached for comment.
