The woman who accused JAY-Z and Diddy of raping her when she was 13 is heard admitting that the Roc Nation co-founder had nothing to do with the alleged crime.

On Wednesday morning, March 12, ABC News released a minute-long audio clip of the woman, known as "Jane Doe," talking to private investigators about the allegations she made in a lawsuit her attorney Tony Buzbee filed last October. She still maintains JAY-Z was at the afterparty for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, but she agreed that Hov did not participate in the sexual assault.

"He was just there, but he didn't have anything to do with any sexual acts towards you?" the private investigator asked.

"Yeah," Jane Doe responded.

Elsewhere in the recording, Jane Doe was also asked about Buzbee's involvement in her case. The Alabama woman told the investigators that her attorney "was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with JAY-Z." In response, Buzbee said her claim was a "blatant lie" and provided his own audio recording of his recent conversation with her. When asked about the audio tape with the private investigators, Jane Doe denied that she retracted her allegations and placed the blame on Buzbee.

Jane Doe dropped her lawsuit against JAY-Z and Diddy last month without prejudice meaning she can't file the charges again. She acknowledged that she dropped the charges but still noted she still stands by her claims. Hov declared victory and filed a defamation lawsuit against Jane Doe and Buzbee. In the court documents, the artist, born Shawn Carter, accused Buzbee of her false allegations against him even though she admitted they weren't true. He also reiterated his previous claim that Buzbee attempted to extort him by continuing to spread "the false narrative of the assault by Mr. Carter in order to leverage a maximum payday." Both Buzbee and Jane Doe denied the allegations.
