Cardi B has a new-found love for Rihanna's "S&M" after one fan mashed up the dance track with the rapper's "WAP" featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
On Wednesday (August 26), Bardi took to Twitter to share her stamp of approval over the new mix from YouTube user oneboredjey Mashup, who took the instrumental from the 2011 smash and paired it with the bars from the femcees. "I like this ...A LOT," the chart-topper wrote in response to the mix. Not only did both songs make waves for their overly sexual nature, but they also topped the Billboard Hot 100. "S&M" made its way to he No. 1 spot, courtesy of a remix from Britney Spears. Meanwhile, its video was banned in 11 countries.
Earlier this week, the rapper also took to The Kyle and Jackie O Show to defend its explicit lyrics. "The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious people," Cardi explained. “But my thing is, I grew up listening to this type of music. Other people might think it's strange and vulgar, but to me, it's almost like really normal, you know what I'm saying?" "No, of course I don't want my child to listen to this song and everything. It's for adults."
"You wanna know something? It's what people wanna hear," she continued. "If people didn't wanna hear it, if they were so afraid to hear it, it wouldn't be doing as good."
