Black Maternal Health Walk and Community Fair is back — and this year, it's Rooted in Justice and Joy. Join 96.1 The Beat’s Jojo Alonso Saturday, April 11th at Candler Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the Black Mamas Matter Alliance's annual community walk, live music, food, games, and a marketplace full of Black-led wellness businesses.
Held during the first day of Black Maternal Health Week, this is your chance to come out and walk in support of Black Mamas and babies and connect with doulas, midwives, and community organizations who are building real solutions for Black families.
